As the founder and frontman of ROLLOVER, Louie has crafted a signature sound that fuses roots rock, blues, and psychedelic influences, captivating audiences with his electrifying guitar work and soulful storytelling.
Louie’s journey began in the 1990s, when ROLLOVER’s debut album gained national attention, with their breakout single “Shipwreck” receiving heavy rotation on Chicago’s 93.1 WXRT FM. The band’s rising popularity led them to a historic achievement—becoming the first Chicago rock band signed by Bill Graham Management in San Francisco, an agency known for representing legendary acts like Santana, Joe Satriani, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
From there, Louie and ROLLOVER embarked on an impressive journey, touring extensively across the U.S. and the UK, sharing the stage with some of rock’s biggest names, including The Allman Brothers Band, Sheryl Crow, Blues Traveler, Los Lobos, John Hiatt, Buddy Guy, and many more. Their reputation for delivering high-energy, emotionally charged performances solidified them as a standout act in the blues-rock scene.
Beyond performing, Louie is a prolific songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, playing everything from guitar, drums, and bass to pedal steel, Hammond B-3, and sitar. His work extends beyond ROLLOVER, collaborating with industry greats like Roy Marinell, co-writer of “Werewolves of London”, Kid Rock’s “All Summer Long”, and Warren Zevon’s “Excitable Boy”.
As a producer and recording engineer, Louie has crafted ROLLOVER’s albums and worked on various projects for other artists. His solo work, including the album “Twenty Fingers”, further showcases his musical depth and versatility.
